01 / Thematic Scope

Paper Categories

The Anyigba Journal of Theatre, Film, and Communication Arts (AJOTFCA) welcomes rigorous, empirically grounded, and theoretically robust contributions. Submissions must squarely address core discourse within our primary domains:

Theatre & Performance

Dramatic theory, indigenous performance aesthetics, stagecraft evolution, directing paradigms, and socio-political plays analysis.

Film & Cinematic Studies

Nollywood and global cinematic structures, screenwriting theory, visual semiotics, documentary criticism, and digital media aesthetics.

Communication Arts

Mass media dynamics, broadcasting policies, digital communication networks, journalistic ethics, and strategic cultural rhetoric.

02 / Quality Control

The Double-Blind Peer Review Lifecycle

To uphold uncompromising international academic standards, every submitted manuscript passes through a strict tri-stage evaluation process:

1

Preliminary Editorial Audit (Days 1–5)

The editorial board checks for structural completeness, plagiarism thresholds (15%), scope alignment, and strict adherence to journal formatting rules.

2

Double-Blind Referee Evaluation (Days 6–21)

All author names and institutional identifiers are scrubbed. The manuscript is dispatched to two independent academic specialists in theatre, film, or communication arts for objective review.

3

Editorial Decision & Revisions (Days 22–30)

Authors receive constructive reviewer notes resulting in unconditional acceptance, minor/major revisions required, or formal rejection.

03 / Technical Specifications
